Climate scenarios for different time horizons (for example 2025), scenarios for spring and autumn, or scenarios using a different global temperature increase, can not always be obtained by simple linear interpolation or extrapolation. Also, many applications require time series information (representative for the future climate), rather than only the changes as provided by the KNMI'06 scenarios. As in the past, KNMI will continue to make tailored climate scenarios, in addition to the four general KNMI'06 scenarios.
