TMCF PGE: Bad and Dead Pixel Map (BDPM)

This TMCF PGE calculates Bad and Dead Pixel Maps (BDPM) of the image and storage sections of the UV and VIS CCD detectors. This PGE uses the following inputs:

  • Unbinned dark current long-exposure measurement data.
  • Unbinned White Light Source (WLS) measurement data.
  • Unbinned LED measurement data.
  • The outputs of the TMCF DCMAP (Dark Current map) PGE.
  • The outputs of the TMCF RTS (Random Telegraph Signal) PGE.
The output products are stored in the TMCF database, along with their metadata. The BDPM is currently updated dynamically once per day (measurement frequency of the unbinned long-exposure dark measurements). This frequency can be configured.
