Latest news on OMI Ozone measurements

Release status

  • Total ozone columns from OMI measurements derived via the TOMS algorithm and derived via the DOAS method are both publicly available at the MIRADOR Data site within 48 hours after observation.
  • Scientific products under development are the tropospheric ozone column and tropospheric ozone profile. Provisional release dates are currently not known.
  • Very Fast Delivery of images (within 30 minutes after observation, Europe only) showing the total ozone column, uv index and an estimate of the erythemally weighted daily dose are publicly available at FMI.
  • Near Real Time images (available within 30 minutes after observation, global) of the total ozone column amounts are publicly available at the TEMIS web site.
