Aura Science Team Meeting 2009

Location

The Aura Science Team Meeting 2009 was held from Monday 14 up to and including Thursday 17 September 2009 in Leiden, The Netherlands at the Holiday Inn hotel.

A variety of scientific results using Aura data were shown, and the various working groups met to discuss research and program goals for the coming year. New was the climate working group. Their primary focus is on improving products (including making them more user-friendly) for the climate community.

Working group meetings were scheduled on Monday 14 September, the plenary meeting take place from Tuesday 15 up to and including Tuesday 17 September. The plenary meeting consisted of:

• Reporting of the Working Group conclusions and discussion
• General science sessions
• Air Quality session
• Climate session
• Future Atmospheric Chemistry Missions and Programs session
