Daily mean temperature in De Bilt from 1940 - 2003

The images below show the history of the temperature in De Bilt that each run 1 - 31 simulated for the period 1940-2003. With the temperature in De Bilt we mean the temperature in a gridpoint of the model lying closest to De Bilt. During the actual simulations the images showed the situation of each run at at most 1 hour ago !

The red line denotes the daily mean temperature of the year 2003 in the integration.
The black line denotes the average daily mean temperature of the years 1940 until 2003.
The blue area shows the range of all temperatures that have occurred between 1940 and 2003.
As a reference, the first graph shows the observed daily mean temperature values in de Bilt between 1940-2003 (source KNMI)
