• Predictability Research for information on ensemble forecasting. This Division also works on e.g. the North Atlantic Oscillation, using a simplified climate model (ECBilt). Model validation is carried out using long instrumental and proxy temperature records.
• Atmospheric Composition for information on UV-forecasts (in Dutch) and the present status of the ozone layer. Another research topic is the atmospheric impact of aircraft emissions.
• The Climatological Services  gives acces to historical information on weather and climate in the Netherlands, , the Climate Explorer gives access to freely available world-wide climate data. The HISKLIM project will give access to historical KNMI data.
