Access to ECMWF for researchers from the Netherlands Centre for Climate
Research and other scientific institutions in the Netherlands.
Researchers from the Netherlands Centre for Climate
Research or associated research establisments can get access to ECMWF's computer facilities and data archive
by submitting a motivated request
(download Word97 example)
to P. van Velthoven as representative of the head of the Department of Climate Research and Seismology.

Under special circumstances access can also be granted to researchers from
other scientific institutions in the Netherlands.
Finally it is also possible to request a special project at ECMWF, which can give you access to the supercomputers at ECMWF
(see again ECMWF).
Such requests need to be approved by the ECMWF Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC).
They only can be submitted to ECMWF by the director of KNMI. Non-KNMI Dutch
researchers are requested to submit them through the above address.
Non-KNMI users shall in principle not be granted access to forecast data.
