OV-chipkaart
In all public transport, you can use an electronic ticket, called
"OV-chipkaart".
However, its use is poorly documented on
the web, and it is intrinsicly forgeiner unfriendly.
As I calculate it, a return journey from Schiphol airport
to KNMI, will cost you €57,50.
At the moment it is unclear when the railways will phase out
paper tickets.
