The CESAR observatory - Cabauw
The Cabauw site has been the experimental research site of the KNMI since
1973. It's main landmark is the 213 m high meteorological
mast. Since May 2002 seven Dutch research institutes co-operate in CESAR
(Cabauw Experimental Site for Atmospheric Research) to develop Cabauw into a
major scientific international site for remote sensing, atmospheric research and
climate monitoring.
