Friday is devoted to the presentations, whereas on Saturday the group discussion will be held. GEWEX reimburses travel costs for a limited number of participants. KNMI sponsors the costs for the meeting room and conference lunches. The participant capacity is limited. The deadline for registration was set at 15 March and has already past. However, people who are still interested to attend the workshop are welcome to register. All participants are charged 20 EURO for a contribution in the lunch costs. Registration can be done by sending an e-mail to Bart van den Hurk. Travel and AccomodationThe Biltse Hoek is situated at walking distance from the main office of KNMI in De Bilt, The Netherlands. Detailed instructions for travel to and from De Biltse Hoek and KNMI can be found at the KNMI web-site. The motel Biltse Hoek and hotel Mitland appear to be already fully booked for the period of the workshop. I have found accomodation in Hotel Terminus in Amersfoort (Stationsstraat 42 3811MK AMERSFOORT; tel ++31 33-4227050; fax ++31 33-4652144), which is about 1 hours travelling from the workshop location. Additional assistance can be given on request, and subject to availability. |
