Data products
Archived Wind and Stress Products
KNMI has several long-term time sets of scatterometer wind data
available, for example ten years of reprocessed ERS-1 and 2 data and four
years of reprocessed QuikSCAT data. Besides winds, also the
corresponding
wind stress
gridded products (L3) are available on the KNMI Climate Explorer.
These were produced in the context of the
CM SAF.
The OSI SAF ASCAT 25-km wind products from December 2008 and later are available
online from EUMETSAT's Unified Meteorological Archive and Retrieval Facility
(
U-MARF). OSI SAF ASCAT 12.5-km and
SeaWinds products are available in U-MARF since July 2009.
