ERS-2 Wind Products
The ERS-2 satellite was retired on July 5, 2011, after 16 years of successful
operations. Its orbit is being lowered to reduce the risk of collission with
other satellites and the spacecraft will re-enter the atmosphere within less
than 25 years. The EARS-ERS 25-km regional wind products are no longer available
in near-real time.
