Hans de Vries has been working as a scientist for KNMI since 1988. His main topic is sea level forecasts for the North Sea and the coast of the Netherlands. He maintains the operational WAQUA/DCSM storm surge model, a joint effort of KNMI, Rijkswaterstaat and Deltares.

Functions

ECMWF User Support Visit

Dominique Lucas from ECMWF user support plans to visit KNMI on 15 and 16 November.
On 15 November he will give two presentations in the afternoon, and on 16 November we plan to organise discussions in small groups during the morning.

The presentations on 15 November will be in the Buys Ballotzaal at KNMI and are open to everybody:
