Hans de Vries has been working as a scientist for KNMI since 1988. His main topic is sea level forecasts for the North Sea and the coast of the Netherlands. He maintains the operational WAQUA/DCSM storm surge model, a joint effort of KNMI, Rijkswaterstaat and Deltares.
