Explanation

This page displays water level probability forecasts for high and low tides along the coast of the Netherlands. Data are updated with every new ECMWF/EPS run.

The original WAQUA/DCSM forecasts driven by the ECMWF ensemble are shown together with the probabilities which have been derived from these and the calibration based on forecasts from Sep 2003 – Apr 2004.
From July 25, 2007, a new calibration is being used, based on forecasts from Sep 2006 – Apr 2007.

Levels IP – AP are the SVSD informatie-, (voor)waarschuwings-, grens- and alarmpeilen.
