• Cloud-climate interactions
  - Using the EC-Earth model to evaluate and understand cloud-climate interactions in the context of the EUCLIPSE project with Frank Selten
  - Collaborating with scientists who evaluate single column models and LES at specific locations
  - Using of satellite simulators (e.g. COSP) and observations (e.g. ISCCP, CALIPSO) at point locations to evaluate model results against observations
  - Contributing to a more realistic description of cloud-related processes in EC-Earth
