Currently I work as a Junior Geophysicist within the research and development group of seismology and acoustics, RDSA. Finished my bachelor degree in Applied Geo-science at Delft University of Technology, TU Delft. Did my masters with the IDEA League, a two-year joint master degree in Applied Geophysics offered by three of Europe’s leading science and technology institutions: TU Delft, ETH Zurich and RWTH Aachen University. At the KNMI I work on the Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) SeabirdSound project. This project will address one of the fundamental questions in biology: how seabird species navigate in a feature-less landscape. Within this project I am the physicist/researcher that develops tools to detect, process, localize, characterize and visualize infrasonic sources and its propagation.
