My research is dedicated to radiative transfer in the solar spectral range, aimed at retrieval of clouds, aerosols and trace gases from satellite measurements of scattered solar radiation. Specific topics are spectral radiative transfer modelling (DAK model), cloud height retrieval from oxygen absorption bands, aerosol retrievals from the ultraviolet, and the use of polarisation. Satellite instruments I have been working with include GOME, SCIAMACHY, OMI, GOME-2 and TROPOMI.
