The objective of this work package is the definition of the specifications of the ARISE advanced parameters related to the monitoring of extreme events, which will be included in the future ARISE data base. This will be performed through collaborative studies using ARISE observations from infrasound, lidar and airglow observation networks to reach the common objective of a common data base. Objectives are related to the needs of civil security especially in monitoring volcanic eruptions and ash dispersion, thunderstorms and cyclones which also present an interest for climate change studies, as well as natural hazards such as large earthquakes, avalanches, and meteorites.
