Jan Willem is managing the KNMI Datalab that performs data-driven innovations through the execution of collaborative experiments with public and private sector partners. He has worked more than 25 years in ICT, progressing from software engineer to senior data technology advisor and project manager nowadays. He has extensive experience in the development and implementation of innovative information systems for meteorology. He has participated and participates in several international research projects and expert/task teams. He is specialized in data science, data interoperability and metadata.
